Tiruvidalmarudr Railway Station, also spelt Tiruvidaimarudur Railway Station, is on the Mayiladuthurai-Kumbakonam rail route. The station is under the administrative control of the Southern Railways. Kumbakonam-Mayiladuthurai Passenger and Tambaram-Kumbakonam Fast Passenger are the main trains that touch this station.
