Thiruverumbur

Thiruverumbur is a small village in Tiruchirapalli District of Tamil Nadu. It is around 15 km east of Tiruchirapalli on the way to Thanjavur. Erumbeeswarar Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a major attraction. The annual festival of Bhrammotsavam attracts thousands of devotees from far and near.

Kailasamudaiyar Temple and Nithya Sundarar Temple are the nearby pilgrim centers. Thiruverumbur can be accessed by local buses and taxies from Tiruchirapalli. Tiruchirapalli Junction Railway Station serves this area. Tiruchirapalli Airport is the nearest airport.
