Teppakulam is an artificial tank located at the foot of Rock Fort, Tiruchirappalli. The tank is surrounded by colourful stalls and a flower market. The float festival on every year is conducted here. In the middle of the tank there is a picturesque shrine. The tank also has a flight of stone steps. To the south-east of the tank is a house which is said to have been used by Robert Clive as his residence.
