Thriparappu Water Falls is located about 40 km from
Nagercoil and 60 km from
Kanyakumari. The word Thriparappu means ‘a pavilion of beauty and sacredness’.
Formed by the Kothai River, the waterfalls is an ideal tourist destination. Children’s swimming pool and dressing rooms are provided there. There is also a Lord Shiva temple, situated near the falls.
The nearest railhead is at Nagercoil and Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Regular bus services are available form Kanyakumari and Nagercoil.
