Thiruindhaloor temple is situated in
Thanjavur District in
Tamil Nadu. The temple is situated on the banks of
River Cauvery, near the town of Mayuram.
The deity of this temple is Lord Parimala Ranganathan. The deity is also known by the names Maru viniya Maindhan, Sugantha Vananathan and Andhiya Rangan. The idol of the deity is seen in a resting position, facing east. An annual festival known as ‘Mudava Muzhuku’ is celebrated in a grand manner in this temple.
