Royal Palace Museum, established in 1994, is located at
Thanjavur,
Tamil Nadu. Thanjavur is about 58 km from
Tiruchirapalli.
This multi purpose museum displays the souvenirs of memorable events, royal cloths, hunting weapons, the head gears, manuscripts, weapon dresses, utensils and musical instruments. Thanjavur Paintings, coconut shell carvings, coins, bead work and bronzes are also kept here.
The museum is open all days from 09:00 to 18:00 hrs. It can be visited on a small entrance fee.
