Government Museum, set up in 1993, is a multi-purpose center located in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. It displays a variety of specimens relating to archaeology, anthropology, numismatics, philately, botany, zoology and geology. Collections include sculptures, bronzes, Neolithic stone tools, burial potteries and tribal materials.
The museum is open on all days from 9:30 to 17:00 hrs except Fridays, second Saturdays and national holidays.
