Royapettah




Royapettah, meaning the abode of ‘Rayars’, is a thickly populated and one of the oldest residential areas in central Chennai. It is located between Triplicane and Mylapore and is 2.5 km east of Kodambakkam.

Royapettah Clock Tower, Wesley High School and Royapettah High School are the major land marks of Royapettah.

Chennai International Airport is around 16 km south-west. Chennai Central Railway Station is 5 km north.
