Rock Fort Temple is a collection of three temples in
Tiruchirapalli District - the Manikka Vinayakar temple at the foot of the hill, the Uchhi Pillayar Koyil at the top of the hill and the Taayumaanavar Koyil
Shivasthalam on the hill. The temples here are dedicated to
Lord Shiva and
Lord Ganesh. The temple has many inscriptions of Pallava and Imperial
Chola period. It also has Kangaala Moorthy, one of the 64 manifestations of Shiva. There are Tayumanavar temple towards the west, and the Uchipillayar temple to the east.
