Rayakottai, also spelt Rayakotta, is a small town in Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu. The neighboring towns linked with Rayakottai are Kathujuganapalli in the east, Denkanikottai in the west, Marandahalli (14 km) in the south and Kelamangalam in the north-west. The nearest town Krishnagiri is 30 km away. Rayakottai lies 16 km north-east of Panchapalli, 17 km south of Sulagiri and 19 km south-east of Uddanappalle. Bangalore, the Garden City of India, is about 73 km away.
