Palacode

Palacode, also spelt Palakkodu, is a small settlement on the outskirts of Dharmapuri in Dharmapuri District. It lies on Salem-Bangalore Highway route. The place is bounded by Pennagaram in the south-west, Hanumanthapuram in the north and Dharmapuri (27 km) in the south-east. Nearby attraction is Hogenakkal. Pappireddipatti (10 km), Karimangalam (13 km), Kaveripattinam and Marandahalli (14 km) are the neighboring places. By road, Palacode can be approached from Dharmapuri and Pennagaram. Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport. Dharmapuri Railway Station serves Palacode.
