Perur is a village located in Coimbatore District, about 15 km from Coimbatore. This ancient village is famous for temples. Some of the major industries of India are also located here. The main temple of Perur is Perur Patteeswaraswamy Temple. Other nearby temples are Patti Vinayagar Temple, Sivam Temple, Masani Amman Temple and Karumari Amman Temple. Other tourist attractive spots are Kovai Kondattam (3 km from Perur), Kovai Kutralam Water Falls and Vaidehi Falls.

By road, Perur is connected by private and transport vehicles. The nearest rail junction is at Coimbatore. One can also access this place from Coimbatore Airport.
