Pallattur

Pallattur is a small village situated midway between Chettinad and Kottaiyur, in Sivagangai District. It is located about 75 km east of Madurai and around 85 km south-west of Thanjavur. Karaikudi is south.

Pillaiyarpatti, Aranthangi, Tirumayam, Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple at Madurai and Pazhamuthircholai are tourist spots within 100 km from Pallattur.

Nearest airport is at Madurai. Chettinad Railway Station and Kottaiyur Railway Station serve Pallattur.
