Sadashiva Brahmendra was a revered saint of
Tamil Nadu. He lived around the 17th century, and was born on the banks of the
river Cauvery. Sadashiva Brahmendra kept a vow of silence all his life. His name is part of the folklore in Tamil Nadu. He has 14 works to his credit, including a lucid commentary on the Brahma Sutras. Sadashiva Brahmendra is known to have performed many miracles.
