Kunthakulam Bird Sanctuary is situated 33 km south of
Tirunelveli. During January to April, various species of birds migrate here. Kunthakulam is a serene village covered with natural forests and ponds.
The nearest railhead is Tirunelveli Junction Railway Station. From Tirunelveli, there are regular buses to the sanctuary.
