Paga Teertham

Paga Teertham is a sacred tank located on the north-east side of Adi Kumbeswara Temple at Kumbakonam in Thanjavur District. As it is situated within the temple area, this tank is fairly preserved and no adverse impacts have taken place in the tank area. Other points of interest nearby this tank include Mahamaham Tank, Porthamarai Teertham and three ghats namely Kasipa Teertham, Pagava Teertham and Chakkara Teertham.

Kumbakonam is well connected by road with Trichy, Thanjavur and other nearby cities and towns. Kumbakonam Railway Station is the nearest railway station and the nearest airport is at Trichy (95 km).
