Autorickshaw is a three-wheel hire vehicle, used as a popular mode of transport in every part of India. It is a motorized version of the traditional rickshaws. Autorickshaws are meant for three passengers. It often does not have seat belts or doors. The design of the vehicle varies from town to town.
Most autorickshaws are featured with two-stroke engines. The driver has a separate cabin with a handle bar for control. Women drivers also drive the machine in some parts of the country. This vehicle has a top-speed of around 50 km/h and a cruising speed of around 35 km/h.
