Kanadukathan, located about 5 km north of
Karaikudi in
Sivagangai District. There are many ancient buildings of historical importance. Main attraction is the century old palace called the Kanadukathan Palace. Built by Dr Annamali Chettiyar, the palace attracts a large number of tourists. The specialty here is that a mixture of egg white, powdered shells and myrobalan fruits are used to plaster on the walls.
Madurai airport is about 95 km from here.
