Manapparai is a town located in
Tiruchirapalli District and is around 40 km south-west of
Tiruchirapalli.
The place is famous for Manapparai Murukku (a crisp delicacy) and its bulls. The cattle and vegetable market held here every Wednesday draws a large crowd from nearby villages.
Nearest airport is Tiruchirapalli Airport. Manapparai Railway Station is on the Tiruchirapalli-Dindigul rail route. National Highway 45 has its route through Manapparai.
