Koyambedu




Koyambedu is a fast developing residential area and a much happening commercial center in the north-western city limits of Chennai. It is located just 2.5 km from Vadapalani and around 4 km north-east of Kodambakkam.

Koyambedu assumes prominence as being home to the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus, the biggest of its kind in South Asia. Koyambedu Market is another major land mark. Hotel Ambica Empire, Hotel Maurya International and Radha Park Inn are within a short distance from Koyambedu.

Rama Temple, Kusalapureeswarar Temple and Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple at Chinmayagram are some holy sites in and around Koyambedu.

Chennai International Airport is 12 km south-west. Kodambakkam Railway Station is the nearest metro railway station.
