Talung Glacier




Talung Glacier is in the south-east of Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. The glacier is at an altitude of 4,940 m above the sea level. It is surrounded by Rathong, Kabru, Kirat chuli and Pyramid Peaks. The Goecha Pass gives good views of the glacier. The glacier leads to the Talung Valley. It is an ideal site for trekking.
