Phodong

Phodong is a small town in North Sikkim District. It is about 36 km from Gangtok and lies on the on the Gangtok-Mangan route.

The main attraction of the place is the Phodong Monastery, one of the six major monasteries in Sikkim. Labrang Monastery is a nearby attraction.
