Bakhim is located 16 km from
Yuksom in
West Sikkim District. It lies at an altitude of around 3,005 m, on the
Dzongri (10 km) trek route. Bakhim is a natural garden, surrounded by dense mixed forests of magnolia, orchids, rhododendron and ferns. Prek Chu River flows close by. It commands enchanting views of mountain ranges and deep valleys all around. Nearby places of interest are Tsokha Village and Phedang. Accommodation is available at Bakhim Forest House and Tourist Bungalow.
