Vanasur ka Kila




Vanasur ka Kila, at an elevation of 1859 m, is a fort noted for its majestic beauty. It is believed to have been built during the medieval age. Legend is that Vanasur, the eldest son of Bali, was assassinated at this spot.

Lohawati River originates near this place.

Situated along the Bhowali Road, it is 7 km from Lohaghat and 20 km from Champawat. One has to walk 2 km to reach the fort.
