Somnath Mandir is one of the ancient shrines in Pali of Rajasthan. Built by Maharaja Kumarpal Solanki during the Vikram Samvat Era 1209, the shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The mandir excels in its structural design and is a fine example of Ship Shastra - an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture.
