Known as Tamravati in the ancient times, Sojat is an ancient town situated on the left bank of the
Sukri River near Pali town. Places of interest include the majestic Sojat Fort, a big reservoir and several temples such as Sejal Mata, Chaturbhuj, and an old temple of Chamuda Mata located on the top of a hillock.
Sojat is 40 km from Pali and 110 km from Jodhpur.
Sojat Road Railway Station connects this city to the other cities of
Rajasthan.
