Shri Gangani Teerth



Shri Gangani Teerth, a two storeyed temple, was established on Magh Shukla 8 of 273 Vikram Samvat by King Samprati. The temple is dedicated to Shri Chintamani Parshwanath Bhagvan. A white-colored idol of Shri Chintamani Parshwanath Bhagvan in the padmasana posture is installed in this 2250-year-old temple. Idol of Shri Dharamnath Bhagvan, which is present on the upper floor of the temple has carving of 1684 Vikram Samvat. There is an inscription of 1914 Vikram Samvat on the main idol. The temple is managed by a trust called Shri Jain Shwetambar Pracheen Teerth. Every year, a fair is organized after Holi on the day of Chaitra Krishna Saptami. The puja timings are from 6:00 hrs during winter season and 7:00 hrs during summer. The teerth has a dharamshala with 64 rooms and a bhojanshala.
