Sawai Mansingh Wildlife Sanctuary




Started in 1984, Sawai Mansingh Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at Sawai Madhopur on the City Road. Flora species include dhok, churel, mango and zuliflora. It has an area of 103 sq km, and houses inhabitants such as tiger, leopard, chital, sambhar, wild boar, chinkara, nilgai, and mongoose. It is accessible by air from Jaipur/ Kota, and rail and road from Sawai Madhopur. October to June is the ideal time to visit this sanctuary. Guide services are also available.
