Mangliyawas

Mangliyawas is located on the National Highway 8 towards Beawar, about 26 km from Ajmer, in Rajasthan. The town is noted for two 800-years-old trees of a rare species - Adansonia Digitata Linn - popularly known as 'Kalpa-Vrikhsha'.

It is believed that the trees fulfill the desires of the devotees. Thousands of devotees visit the place especially on the Amavasya day in the month of Shravan (July/August). Devotees tie a thread around the tree in hope of their wishes being granted.
