Mahansar

Mahansar is an isolated area set amidst a sea of scrub and drifting sand in the Jhunjhunu District. It is 27 km northeast of Fatehpur.

The main tourist attractions include Raghu Nath Temple, Tola Ram Maskara Ka Mahaphil Khana, Sahaj Ram Poddar Chhatri, Shiv Temple, Poddar Talab (water tank), a fortress and some of the most elaborate and accomplished interior paintings in Shekhawati. Mandawa and Ramgarh are attractions nearby. The most interesting fact is that apart from the buses and other motor vehicles, the camel carts and herds of goats play role in making traffic.

Mahansar is about 45 km from Jhunjhunu via Bissau.
