Kakuni is a small town located in the Baran District of Rajasthan. Located on the banks of Parvan River, this old township is dotted with ancient temples. Kakuni is situated 65 km north-east of Jhalawar.
Major tourist attractions include a huge idol of Lord Ganesh and a
Shivlinga dating back to the 8th century. The remains of Bhimgarh Fort, built by Raja Bhim Deo, which lies on the other side of the Parvan River, are worth visiting.
