Established in 1983, Kailadevi Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the village of Kailadevi
. It occupies an area of 676 sq km. The sanctuary is attached to Ranthambhor National Park and serves as a buffer area for wildlife. It is home to a wide variety of animals including tiger, leopard, chital, sambhar, wild boar, chinkara, blue bull, jackal and nilgai. The sanctuary is well connected by a network of road, rail, and air. The best time to visit this sanctuary is from October to May. Trained forest staffs are available as guides.
