Khetri




Khetri, founded in the 18th century, is situated in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. It was the second wealthiest Thikana under Jaipur. Prime attractions of this place are Raghunath temple and the Bhopalgarh Fort which are adorned with nice paintings. Other attractions include Bhopal Garh Fort, Panna Lal Shah ka Talab, Ram Krishan Mission, Sukh Mahal Amar Kund, Raghu Nath Ji Ka Bara Mandir, Temple of Bhatiani Ji and Thakur Hari Singh Temple. Khetri is around 72 km from Jhunjhunu and 200 km from Delhi. It is well-connected by regular bus services with Delhi and Jaipur. Sanganer Airport and Jhunjhunu Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
