Jawahar Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary is located near the Jawahar Sagar Dam in
Kota District of
Rajasthan. It is 35 km from
Kota.
Spread over 100 sq km, the vegetation consists of dry deciduous forest. The sanctuary is the habitat for gavial, crocodile, sambar deer, chital, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard and fishes.
