Gogaji Fair

Gogaji Fair is a popular fair held at Goga Medi, situated 59 km from Jaipur in Rajasthan. This three day annual fair is celebrated in memory of a local hero, known as Goga Veer among Hindus and Jahar Peer among Muslims. The fair is conducted during the month of Bhadrapada, which falls in August/September.

Goga Veer is also regarded as a highly revered person by the people of neighbouring states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. In Gujarat, an annual procession is taken out in honor of the great warrior.

Thousands of devotees attend the fair to make a wish or for expressing their gratitude when their wishes come true.
