Bhilwara




Bhilwara, dubbed as the ‘Textile City’, is the administrative headquarters of Bhilwara District, in Rajasthan. It is a major industrial center and big market for textiles in the district. Bhilwara is 179 km south-west of Jaipur.

Places of tourist interest in the neighborhood include the Harni Mahadev, Mejha Dam, Triveni (40 km), Menal Falls, Banera Fort, Shahpura Palace, Sawai Bhoj Mandhir and Mandhara Mandir.

Nearest airport is at Udaipur (140 km). Bhilwara Railway Station is on the Ratlam-Ajmer line. National Highway 79 passes through the town.
