Deshnok




Formerly called ‘Dus-nok’, Deshnok is a small desert town 20 miles south of Bikaner city along the Jodhpur Road. It is believed that this town has been formed by taking ten corners of ten villages. The beautiful white marble Karni Mata temple of this place is very famous. An incarnation of Goddess Durga, Karni Mata is believed to have lived here in the fourteenth century and performed many miracles.

Deshnok, is connected by road and rail with Bikaner, Nagaur, Jodhpur and Jaipur. There are regular buses from Bikaner to this village.
