Shri Satyapur Teerth




Shri Satyapur Teerth is a Jain temple situated in the middle of Sanchore in the Jalore District of Rajasthan. A white-colored idol of Shri Mahavir Bhagvan in the padmasana posture is the main deity. This teerth is described in the 'Jag Chimtamani' written by Shri Gautam swami. Managed by a trust called Shri Jain Murtipoojak Sangh ki pedhi, it was established during the reign of Bhagvan Mahavir. A well-equipped dharamshala with bhojanshala facility is also situated near the teerth. Direct bus services are available from Jalore, Bhinmal, Mount Abu, Jodhpur and Sirohi. Shri Satyapur Teerth is around 44 km from Tharad.
