Luni River




Luni River rises from the western slopes of the Aravalli Ranges, at an elevation of 550 m. It flows in a south-westerly direction through the hills and across the plains of Rajasthan. The river finally vanishes in the marshy land of Rann of Kutch. It has a total catchment area of 37,363 sq km, covering parts of Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Barmer, Jalore and Sirohi districts.
