A renowned Sikh center in Punjab, Bhikhi is an ancient town located about 30 km from Sunam, Mansa District. There are many Sikh shrines worth visiting. It is believed that Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, had halted here during his journey through the Malva region.
To commemorate the visit of the guru, a memorial, Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Nauvin has been built at Bhikhi by the devotees.
By road, Bathinda is about 60 km from here. The nearest airport is Ludhiana Airport.
