Katpalon is an ancient village in Jalandhar District of Punjab. It lies on the Phillaur- Nawan Shehar road, about 8 km east of Phillaur.

Katpalon is historically significant in that the great ancient site excavated by the Archeological Survey of India in 1976-77 lies there. The excavations yielded painted greyware found interlocked with the late Harappan pottery. Copper antimony road and terracotta beads and wheels are the other main finds.

The Phillaur Fort is situated nearby.

Phillaur Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Ludhiana Airport serves this area.
