Jhelum River




River Jhelum, commonly known as ‘Veth’, flows through the valley of Kashmir. It runs a length of 203 km in the valley. The main source of the river is Verinag spring of Anantnag District. The river passes through the Srinagar city to Wular lake and then through Baramulla and Uri to Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
