Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Nauvin

Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Nauvin is situated in Bhupal village of Mansa District in Punjab. It was built to commemorate the visit of Guru Tegh Bahadur to this place. It is said that when the Guru came here, the villagers failed to recognize him and did not pay him due respect. When the Zamindar came to know about this, he sent a Ramdasia Sikh named Biran Singh to apologize to Guru Tegh Bahadur. However, the Guru refused to return. In the Gurdwara, the Prakash Divas of Guru Nanak, Shahidi Divas of Guru Arjan and Guru Tegh Bahadur are organized with traditional pomp and show. Every year, during the month of January-February, Joe Mela is organized at the Gurdwara.
