Haripura

Haripura is an ancient village situated about 15 km west of Abohar. Both Guru Nanak Dev and Guru Gobind Singh have made this village sacred by their visits.

Bad Tirth, a deep pool of water, is located in the northern region of the village. In ancient times, this pond was a famous pilgrim spot. Gurdwara Charan Pak Patshahi I, located on the bank of Bad Tirth, is the main attraction. Built in 1947, this shrine draws a large number of Sikh devotees. During the full moon day of Kattak, thousands throng here to mark the Guru Nanak Jayanti.

Abohar Railway Station is the major railhead nearby and Amritsar International Airport is at a distance of 270 km.
