Bhupal




Bhupal is a small village located about 13 km north of Mansa, Bathinda District. This village is popular for a historic shrine dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur. Tradition has it that Guru Tegh Bahadur had stayed here for a night during his journey through Malva region, and a gurdwara has been raised here to commemorate his visit. Gurdwara Nauvin Patshahi draws thousands of Sikh devotees. During the birth anniversaries of Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh, a large number of people assemble here for the celebrations. By road, Bhiki is 11 km and Kyalla is 3 km away from here. The nearest airport is Chandigarh Airport.
