Lakhi Jungle

Lakhi Jungle is situated on the way to Mukatsar and is 15 km from Bathinda. Major interest here is an old Gurdwara, which is believed to have visited by Guru Nanak. It is said that he recited one lakh (one hundred thousand) holy Paths of Shri Japuji Sahib here and hence the forest came to be called as ‘Lakhi’. Hundreds of pilgrims visit this place every year.
