Tel River

The Tel River is located in Sonpur District of Orissa. It is the second largest river of Orissa and flows just 8 km away from the Titilagarh town. This river is a tributary of the Mahanadi River. The confluence of the two rivers presents a remarkable sight, against a colourful landscape. Baidyanath, which is famous for the Kosaleshwar Shiva temple, is situated on the left bank of the Tel River.
