Located at a distance of 8 km from
Malkangiri town, Satiguda Dam provides irrigation facility to the nearby cultivable lands throughout the year. It is a homogenous earth dam 943 m long and 17 m high. The catchment area is around 18 sq km. Nestled between a large numbers of small hills, this place is a favorite haunt for tourists as well. Boating facilities are available in the reservoir. A Shiva shrine in a cave nearby is another point of attraction.
