Sama Veda from his master and founded the system of Purva Mimamsa or Karma Mimamsa. He is a great intellectual and his teachings are very valuable. He is an opponent of rationalism and theism. He believes in dharma or duty which consists of the performance of rites and rituals as prescribed in
Vedas and does not believe in moksha.
