Satkosia Gorge extends to about 22.5 km long through the emerald forests. The Mahanadi River before emerging into the coastal plains passes through this narrow gorge with magnificently wooded mountains of 1,500 to 2,500 ft in height on either side at Sitalpani. It is the ideal place for boating, angling and other adventure sports.
